Mr. Berzins, who is a Certified Management Consultant, has over 35 years professional
experience - all in Information Technology. He has a broad experience in most technologies
and application solutions. He has led over 100 IT consulting projects, with teams from 1
to 100. He is an acknowledged project management expert.
Mr. Berzins has held the CIO role multiple times. He has strong skills in
portfolio/program/project guidance, oversight, leadership, direction, and mgmt.
Mr. Berzins is knowledgeable and has a strong understanding of ERP solutions (
Tier 1, Tier 2, & Tier 3). Examples include PeopleSoft.
He has extensive prior Big-4 consulting & IT audit experience (Andersen, Coopers, Deloitte)
which has built his compliance understanding of SarBox, HIPPA, SEC, CoBiT, ITIL, & ISO200x. He
is well-founded in CobIT, ITIL, & CMM.
Mr. Berzins is skilled in business process redesign/reengineering/management, performance
management, balanced scorecarding, change management, risk management, and IT governance.
Mr. Berzins is an advocate of Deming, Oliver Wight, Goldratt, & continuous improvement. He
a current or past member of ISACA, APICS, GFOA.
His years of experience have exposed him to virtually every industry (both privately held
and public). He is experienced in all levels of governmental consulting (federal, state,
county, municipal) and has worked with not-for-profits education institutions (colleges,
universities, and K-12).
Mr. Berzins is a proven coach, facilitator, project manager, IT auditor, and change agent.
Mr. Berzins is a Certified Management Consultant, a Certified Systems Professional & has
his Certificate in Data Processing. He graduated from Purdue University and participated
in post-graduate studies at Colorado State University.

Tripp Braden

Tripp Braden is Managing Director of Strategic Performance Partners, an executive
development organization that focuses on transforming high potential executives into
high performing global leaders. He works with an emerging technology organization's
leaders to create an environment for continued professional growth, self-directed
learning and personal mastery. His goal is to help clients achieve breakthrough
leadership in their respective global markets while enabling them to continuously
monitor the environment for future growth opportunities. He works with clients to
do this through a multi-faceted global leadership framework that provides a better
understanding of how to optimize the client's senior level executives and leadership
team's performance.
In his information technology consulting career, Tripp spent several years overseeing
development of several successful consulting practices that included enterprise software
applications such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Siebel and Vantive. These practices included
working with international leadership teams to develop implementation and integration
schedules, change management issues, business process reengineering, and training and
development processes. He served as Executive Director of Strategic Alliance Partnerships
to develop key channel relationships with many leading technology companies, including
Siemens AG, Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Element K, Mentor Technologies, and SmartForce.
Tripp served as Director, Executive Recruiting for several executive search firms. In this
role, he was responsible for: interviewing, evaluating, coaching and executive onboarding
for senior level executives across a wide range of industries that included advanced
technologies, financial services, global consulting organizations, telecommunications
and world-class manufacturing.
He has keynoted and served in senior officer roles for professional groups including
Microsoft Technology Forum, Economic Development Institute, Council of Logistics
Management, and The Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals. His educational
background includes a BS from Baldwin Wallace College. He's taught and led programs at
the graduate level to the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, Miami University,
Case Western Reserve University and is on the faculty Graduate School of Corporate
Coaching at The Schools of Coachville.

Shawn Garrett
Shawn Garrett brings more than 15 years of experience in training, performance consulting,
and career development to her private coaching practice, Emerald City Coaching, LLC. After
a successful career with a major national financial institution, she transitioned her skills
and experience into coaching and helping individuals travel down their "Yellow Brick Road" to
success. Her services include individual and group career coaching, teleclasses, skills-assessment
workshops, facilitation, and public speaking.
With vast experience in the information technology and retail environments, she has helped
launch effective development planning processes within numerous organizations. Her
accomplishments include the creation of placement centers to support displaced workers,
and the design and implementation of career development processes to improve the skills
of technical professionals.
Shawn's approach to career planning helps her clients shift from simply making a living
to designing a life that is financially and personally fulfilling. Utilizing a variety
of tools and assessments (including the DISC), she helps her clients choose or redirect
their careers and identify opportunities for advancement. Shawn challenges and inspires
her clients to develop a clear vision for their lives, leveraging their strengths to
achieve their goals.
Shawn is a member of the International Coach Federation, and a past member of both the
American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the International Society for
Performance Improvement (ISPI). Certified in the Lominger Career ArchitectâTools, she
has completed Front Line Leadership Training through Zenger Miller and The Coach U Core
Essentials Program. She has earned both a Master's degree in administration and a Bachelor's
degree in education from The Ohio State University.

Ronald V. Paxton is President and CEO of Strategic Coaching Network, an
executive coaching firm specializing in leadership development, corporate assessments,
team building, visionary planning, and change management. As an executive coach and
strategic management consultant Ron has spent more than 25 years assisting business and
information technology executives in mid-sized to Fortune 1000 companies. Ron provides
coaching, training, and organizational design solutions that support the foundational
basics of mutual trust, effective communications, and alignment around shared goals
leading to improved individual and organizational performance. Ron also has a private
coaching practice and specializes in coaching Information Technology professionals in
transition and in mentoring new coaches.
Ron currently serves as Vice President for Programs for the Northern New Jersey Chapter
of the American Society for Training and Development. He previously served as President
of the New Jersey Professional Coaches Association.
Ron graduated from Coach U and is certified by Target Training International as a
Professional Behavioral Analyst (DISC Assessments) and Professional Values Analyst
(Attitudes Assessments). He is also a certified Visionary Planning and Leadership
facilitator and coach by Innovation Associates. Ron has a Bachelors of Science degree
in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute and a Masters of Science degree in Computer
Science from New York University.
